Valuations


Heptinstalls Jewellers offer a jewellery valuation service for both insurance and probate  purposes.

This service is carried out on site by Mr Andrew Wilson who is a registered valuer with The National Association of Goldsmiths and a fellow of The Gemmological Association.

Turnround is usually 2 to 3 days, however valuations can be carried the same day by appointment only.

Each Valuation schedule will contain detailed information on size, shape, weight, materials, dimensions etc and the monetry value of each item.

Our fees our: A standing charge of £25.00 per valuation plus 1% of the total value plus vat at 15%. 

For e.g An item for £1000 would cost £25.00 plus £10.00 plus Vat Total £40.25.

We are happy to discuss any requirements you have, if you are not sure whether items need to be valued or if indeed they are of any value please feel free to bring them along for a consultation. There are no charges for this service.
